info@contrastden.com is the only email address on this site. Everything comes to the same place and it is read by a person.
What is most useful to send
- A correction. A spec we read wrong, a figure that has changed on a listing, a product that has been discontinued. Tell us which page and which figure, and we will check it against the source.
- A product that publishes more than the ones we cover. Particularly a sauna blanket with a published wattage, or any product with an EMF figure that includes its measurement distance. We have not found one and would like to.
- A question we should have answered. If you came here looking for something and left without it, that is a page we are missing.
What we cannot help with
We do not sell anything, so we cannot help with an order, a delivery, a return or a warranty claim - those go to the retailer or the manufacturer. We are also not clinicians and cannot advise on whether any of this is suitable for you.
Corrections, and what happens to one
Corrections appear on the page, dated, rather than as silent edits. That is the whole point of the policy: a publisher that quietly rewrites history is not one you can check.
- We check the claim against the primary source ourselves - the seller’s current listing, the manufacturer’s manual, the CPSC notice, the journal article - rather than against a summary of it.
- If it holds up, we fix the page.
- The correction is noted on the page with the date, and the page’s modification date is updated, which also updates the XML sitemap and the feed.
The full policy is here, including the review cadence for each type of page and the triggers that pull an update forward.
A note on what we can verify
Every figure on this site comes from something published: a product listing read on a stated date, a government dataset, or a peer-reviewed paper. We have not used any of the products, so we cannot confirm or deny anything about how one performs, how loud it is, or how long it lasts.
That means the most valuable thing you can send us is a source we did not have - a manufacturer spec page, a manual with a wattage in it, a published EMF measurement with its distance. Those change what the site can say. Opinions about a product we cannot verify, unfortunately, do not. The method page sets out exactly where our competence stops.
