Contrast Den publishes information. We do not sell products, we do not stock them, we do not ship them and we are not party to any transaction you make with a retailer. Anything you buy after clicking a link here is a contract between you and that retailer.

Accuracy, and its limits

Every specification on this site is quoted from a seller’s published listing on a stated date, and every computed figure is derived from those published inputs by the method on the methodology page.

Sellers revise listings, discontinue products and sometimes publish figures that contradict each other on the same page - we name two examples of the last one on this site. We report what is published and we cannot warrant that a manufacturer’s own figure is correct. Check anything that matters against the current listing before you buy.

Not medical advice. Nothing on this site is medical advice, and we hold no clinical qualifications. Heat and cold exposure carry real risks, particularly for anyone with a cardiovascular condition, high or low blood pressure, circulatory problems or diabetes, anyone who is pregnant, and anyone taking medication. Electrical and installation safety

We publish arithmetic about electrical loads to help you choose a product that fits a standard circuit. That is not electrical advice and we are not electricians. If you are uncertain about your wiring, or you are considering a dedicated circuit, use a qualified electrician and follow local code.

This site is provided as-is. We make no warranty that it is complete, current or error-free, and we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of it or of any product mentioned on it, to the fullest extent the law allows.
